As well as being busy we have a few staff members who are experiencing some upcoming and exciting changes in their lives. We are therefore looking to fill a technician, kennel assistant, receptionist and veterinary position. Please see below for job descriptions. Associate Veterinarian Wanted to join our small animal practice. We are located in Renton, WA just 10min south of Seattle. Our hospital is a place that delivers an integrative approach to veterinary medicine. We practice both traditional medicine as well as alternative medicine such as Animal Chiropractic, Acupuncture and herbal remedies. Due to practice growth, we find ourselves at maximum capacity and challenged to meet the needs of our patients. As such, we are looking to add to our team. We are currently looking for an experienced Veterinarian who has a focus on quality medicine, client education, compliance and teamwork. We also need someone willing to work a flexible schedule to include some Saturdays each month. (we’re open until 2:30 on Saturdays). Part-time or Full-time hours are negotiable. This job is essential to providing a high level of quality medicine and client education. As such, this position includes performing dental cleanings, assisting Dr. in surgery, monitoring anesthetics, blood draws, X-Rays, medication administration, restraining patients, post-op care for patients, nursing care, administer vaccinations, client education, etc… We are looking for someone to join our team who can work a flexible schedule to include some Saturdays (until 2:30). Candidates must be hardworking, team player and have an ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment. We ask that our team members are flexible and open to change, strong communicators and compassionate with animals. Physical requirements include: ability to lift at least 30lbs unassisted, ability to stand for long periods of time, ability to bend and maneuver as needed to clean cages, counter tops, etc. Prior experience in a veterinary hospital required. For full-time we offer Medical and Dental insurance (company pays 75% of premium), paid vacation and sick time, and a generous pet discount. Salary depending on experience. This job is essential to maintaining a clean and sanitary environment. As such, this position includes daily cleaning and sterilization duties, basic animal care, assisting with animals during simple procedures, and provides overall assistance to the healthcare team. We are looking for someone to join our team who can work a flexible schedule to include evenings (until 8pm) and Saturday (until 2:30). Candidates must be hardworking, team player and have an ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment. We ask that our team members are flexible and open to change, strong communicators and compassionate with animals. Physical requirements include: ability to lift at least 30lbs unassisted, ability to stand for long periods of time, ability to bend and maneuver as needed to clean cages, counter tops, etc. Prior experience in a veterinary hospital desired but not required. As such, this position includes greeting clients and patients upon arrival, answering a multi line phone, scheduling appts, answering basic questions, providing over the counter product information as needed, etc. Strong computer skills and ability to communicate both verbally and in writing are required. Candidates must be hardworking, team player and have an ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment. We ask that our team members are flexible and open to change, strong communicators and compassionate with animals. Physical requirements include: ability to sit for long periods of time, ability to lift at least 30lbs unassisted, ability to move and walk around quickly, ability to bend and maneuver as needed to clean counter tops, reception area etc.. Prior experience in a veterinary hospital preferred but not required.
